Rule-A-Matic bilge pump float switch. It is designed to automatically activate bilge pumps drawing up to 14 amps. Key features include:

Mercury-on the house design.
Suitable for 12, 24, or 32 VDC systems.
Snap switch tested to over one million cycles.
Highly abrasion-resistant marine-grade wire.
Removable base for uncomplicated installation and maintenance.
Ignition protected.
It turns the bilge pump on when the water level reaches 2 inches and turns it off when the water level reaches 3/4 inch.
